About the Role
Join Guidehouse’s Technology — Intelligent Automation team to contribute to key projects that influence both current activities and long-term strategies. Be part of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation Center of Excellence (CoE), a specialized team focused on solving complex challenges using advanced analytics, AI/ML, and RPA. Projects range from helping clients begin their automation journey to building and expanding comprehensive automation programs, including combining AI and machine learning to create advanced solutions that go beyond traditional automation. The Automation Center of Excellence Manager plays a central role on a growing team with strong opportunities for professional advancement. This position involves working closely with internal and external clients, overseeing all aspects of automation initiatives — from governance and requirement gathering to collaborating with senior leadership on program direction and implementing new solutions.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least five years of experience designing, developing, testing, and launching automation, analytics, dashboards, or similar solutions — including two years focused on UiPath
- Background in leading automation programs, managing infrastructure and unattended automations, promoting adoption, performing feasibility assessments, maintaining standards, delivering demos, and discussing strategy with senior clients
- Experience managing automation teams, ensuring timely delivery, overseeing requirement gathering, reviewing code, and testing
- Interest in working on a technical team that is constantly growing and tackling new challenges
- Strong communication skills suited to various audiences, including executives and clients
- Interest in business development to support team expansion
- Experience in requirement gathering and process mapping
- General IT knowledge combined with business acumen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical details to clients
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage tasks independently, willingness to ask questions, and a proactive approach
- Capable of managing multiple responsibilities
- Ability to build relationships, prioritize tasks, and address potential conflicts appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with federal agency automation programs
- Residing in the Washington, D.C. area
- Active Secret or higher clearance
- Familiarity with governance frameworks
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar automation tools
- Programming skills in R, Python, .NET, VBA, or similar
- Experience with AI/ML tools and processes
- Familiarity with Agile methods
- Background in human capital analytics, financial management, or advanced data visualization
- Business analysis, system design, process improvement, and change management
- Ability to evaluate and choose the right automation or software solutions based on client needs
