About the Role

The BI team at CareDx is seeking a meticulous and creative RPA Developer skilled in Microsoft Power Automate Desktop. This role focuses on identifying automation opportunities, designing reliable workflows, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual work, particularly in Finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business units, especially Finance, to gather requirements and identify processes suitable for automation.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop, with an emphasis on Finance workflows.
  • Develop reusable components and establish design standards to support scalability and easier maintenance.
  • Monitor deployed automations, troubleshoot exceptions, and implement updates or improvements as needed.
  • Document technical designs, process flows, and user guides to support future maintenance and training.
  • Integrate Power Automate Desktop with Microsoft services such as SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, and Dataverse, as well as with third-party applications.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders and citizen developers.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure automation initiatives align with governance and data security policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least five years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years developing RPA solutions, with a strong focus on Power Automate Desktop.
  • Hands-on experience automating Finance-related processes.
  • Knowledge of RPA principles, development lifecycle, and error handling techniques.
  • Experience in desktop, web, file, and email automation, as well as UI-based scripting.
  • Strong skills in process analysis and workflow design.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate Cloud Flows, Power Apps, Dataverse).
  • Ability to translate Finance requirements into effective automation workflows.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (VBScript, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
  • RPA or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
