Job Overview
Position Summary:
Sherwin-Williams is looking for a talented and driven Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to join our Business Process Automation Center of Excellence. This role is key to advancing our digital transformation initiatives by automating business processes across departments. You’ll be using the full range of the UiPath platform, including features like Document Understanding and Communications Mining, to create intelligent, scalable automation solutions.
You’ll work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and process owners to design and deliver effective RPA bots. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior developers and citizen developers, promoting best practices, and helping define the future of automation at the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, test, and deploy RPA solutions using leading industry tools, with a focus on clean, reusable, and reliable code.

Leverage UiPath technologies such as Document Understanding and Communications Mining where appropriate.

Integrate automation with APIs, databases, and other external systems.

Maintain and optimize existing bots for improved performance and reliability.

Guide and support junior developers and external contractors by reviewing code and sharing best practices.

Support the growth of the citizen developer program through mentorship and technical oversight.
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Required:
-
2+ years of hands-on experience with RPA development.
-
Experience with one or more RPA platforms (UiPath preferred).

Proficient in scripting/programming languages like VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Strong understanding of process and solution design documentation (PDDs, SDDs).

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred:

Certification in RPA development (such as UiPath Certified RPA Developer).

Experience working with OCR tools, AI/ML integrations, or workflow tools.

Familiarity with APIs, databases, and web services.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and tools like Git.

Knowledge of UiPath’s REFramework and solid exception handling practices.

Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
