About the Role

The Business Automation Specialist – Robotic Process Automation (RPA) supports the development and smooth operation of the Bank’s automation initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with business and technology units to manage existing RPA solutions, resolve technical issues, and identify new automation opportunities. It is a dynamic position combining both RPA analysis and RPA control responsibilities to improve efficiency and reduce manual workloads.

Key Responsibilities

RPA Analyst Focus:

  • Explain RPA technology capabilities to business stakeholders and evaluate processes for automation suitability.
  • Document current and future state process flows (“as-is” and “to-be”).
  • Prepare business cases for automation, quantifying cost and efficiency benefits.
  • Oversee implementation of RPA projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Gather and prioritize change requests to enhance existing RPA solutions.

RPA Controller Focus:

  • Monitor daily performance of deployed RPA bots across business functions.
  • Coordinate resolution of issues in partnership with business users and IT teams.
  • Propose and document enhancements aimed at reducing technical and business exceptions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following:
    • Blue Prism or other RPA platforms
    • Mail Merge / MS Office automation tools
    • VBA / Excel Macros
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in RPA tools or process automation technologies.
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, or management consulting.
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation or digitalization projects.
