About the Role
The RPA Developer role supports the Client Services Division by designing and implementing robotic process automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency for government clients. This position requires experience with RPA implementation, from process mapping through bot deployment, along with the ability to present insights and results to government stakeholders. The role is based in San Diego, CA, with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy RPA solutions using industry best practices and frameworks.
- Lead process analysis to evaluate automation potential and prepare clients for implementation.
- Develop, test, and implement UiPath RPA bots within customer environments.
- Create documentation and presentations to support client decision-making regarding RPA initiatives.
- Recommend standards and methodologies to support the full RPA lifecycle, from planning to execution.
- Provide training and mentorship to strengthen the automation team’s capabilities in process analysis, development, and management.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in RPA development using UiPath (preferred), Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Business/Technology Management, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience preparing RPA project deliverables, technical documentation, and stakeholder recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Self-driven and effective in team environments.
- Eligibility to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with attended and unattended UiPath robots, including Orchestrator and the Robotic Enterprise Framework.
- RPA platform certification such as UiPath Certified RPA Associate or equivalent.
- Prior UiPath project work within DoD or U.S. federal agencies.
- Familiarity with DoD enterprise systems like Navy ERP (SAP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders to determine optimal solutions.
- Active DoD security clearance preferred.
