About the Role

The RPA Consultant will join the Solutions and Insights team as a mid-level UiPath developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting automation workflows across various business units. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts and other developers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient robotic process automation solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy UiPath automation workflows following best practices and business requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production RPA solutions.
  • Participate in the full RPA lifecycle, from opportunity identification to implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.
  • Produce technical documentation such as high-level designs, process design documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), and support materials.
  • Enhance and maintain existing automations based on change requests or performance feedback.
  • Monitor and support production robots to ensure continuity and swift incident resolution.
  • Implement exception handling and logging to improve solution robustness and maintainability.
  • Contribute to reusable component libraries and uphold development standards.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide guidance to other developers.

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots.
  • Experience automating processes involving Document Understanding, IXP, desktop/web applications, Excel, Outlook, PDFs, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of RPA architecture including queues, REFramework, and exception handling.
  • Knowledge of best practices for logging, error handling, modularity, and reusable components.
  • Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, or related scripting languages used within UiPath.
  • Familiarity with OCR tools, document understanding, or AI Center is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps within Agile sprint cycles.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, REST/SOAP web services, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum team environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes in RPA development.
