About the Role
The Process Automation Developer will be instrumental in designing and implementing automation solutions that support business efficiency and operational excellence. Working closely with business analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders, the role involves crafting, developing, and maintaining automation systems that align with enterprise standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to adidas’ digital transformation journey while developing technical expertise within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand process automation requirements.
- Assist senior developers in designing scalable automation architectures.
- Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions, ensuring compliance with security and system standards.
- Utilize a variety of technologies to create efficient, end-to-end automated workflows.
- Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment under senior guidance.
- Support in the documentation of technical processes, including design and testing documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of automation solutions.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining automation systems, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance team capabilities.
- Provide operational support and resolve issues within the automation environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or C#.
- Familiarity with REST API integrations.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL querying.
- Basic understanding of OCR technologies and document automation.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Solid grasp of software design principles.
- Experience working within Agile development frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality automation solutions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5 years of overall work experience, including at least 2 years in process automation or similar roles.
- Proven experience in Agile project environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
